by Vicki brock posted 01/13/2010 NEW FOR 2010: ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION! Online registration is now open for the Spring, 2010 Columbia Youth Lacrosse Season for boy's programs and ALL 1st/2nd graders. Click on the Register Online button above to register boys grade 1st - 8th and any 1st/2nd grader. Each player will need to purchase a US Lacrosse Registration for $25 (includes insurance and 4 issues of Lacrosse Magazine) in addition to the Columbia Youth Lacrosse registration fee.* After February 21st players may be placed on a waiting list and a $10.00 late registration fee will be added.
Grades 1 and 2 Co-ed ($40*)
will play Saturday mornings from 9-10:30 at Green Meadow Elementary School beginning May 1st and ending June 19th. The only required equipment is a regulation size lacrosse stick.
Boys 3rd/4th grades and Boys 5th/6th grades ($100*)
will begin May 1st and continue through June 19th. Practices will be Tues., Thurs. with games on some Saturdays. Required equipment: helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves and lacrosse stick (goalies must wear athletic supporter).
Boys 7th/8th grades ($100*) will begin May 5th and continue through June 19th. Practices will be Wednesday during the modified season and a second day to be determined will be added thereafter, with games on some Saturdays. Required equipment: helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves and lacrosse stick (goalies must wear athletic supporter).
Girls 3rd-6th grades ($80*) will begin May 3rd and continue through June 16th. Practices will be Monday and Wednesday with games on some Saturdays. Required equipment: goggles and a lacrosse stick.
